TalarMade is proud to launch FAME (Foot & Ankle Multidisciplinary Education) — A new event series designed to bring together professionals from varying disciplines to enhance understanding, share knowledge, and improve clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of the foot and ankle.
Our mission is to create a hub of knowledge and a supportive learning environment that fosters collaboration among podiatrists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, orthotists, doctors, sports and exercise clinicians, and any other related registered professionals.
Our 2025 FAME launch event will be focused on the topic of Medial Ankle Pain. This will include functional anatomy of the medial ankle, differential diagnostic skills, and conservative management strategies. Particular focus will be on the role of diagnostic ultrasound, orthotics and essential strengthening exercises to improve diagnosis accuracy and patient outcomes. The day will welcome three expert speakers and specialists in their field who are internationally recognised for their skills and knowledge in physiotherapy, podiatry, and orthotics.. We will conclude with a group summary and discussion, with an opportunity to ask our speakers questions.
Inviting specialist opinions dedicated entirely to the complexities, biomechanics, and pathologies of the foot and ankle.
Our faculty’s collective expertise runs deep, built over decades of clinical practice and research in the field. From subtle gait abnormalities to complex musculoskeletal presentations, we understand that the foot and ankle are foundational to function, balance, and mobility.
FAME is more than an educational platform.
It is a curated environment where foot and ankle specialism meets multidisciplinary insight. We bring together an audience of podiatrists, physiotherapists, orthotists, GP’s and doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, sports and exercise clinicians, nurses, and clinical educators to deliver learning that is engaging, evidence-based, and focused on excellent clinical outcomes.
Education is at the heart of the FAME initiative – designed to deliver high-quality, clinically relevant learning through a combination of expert-led lectures and hands-on workshops.
Every session is grounded in current evidence, with a strong focus on practical application to real-world clinical settings.
