Liz is a specialist dance physiotherapist based at ‘Until Soho’—a state-of-the-art wellness workspace in the heart of London—where she works with professional performers in the West End. She currently supports Matilda the Musical and holds a senior physiotherapy role at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
From 2021 to 2024, Liz was head physiotherapist for Disney’s The Lion King in London’s West End. Her previous experience also includes leading roles with Wicked, and work with high-performance athletes from Middlesbrough Football Club, the UAE Pro League, and the NBA.
Her clinical interests include foot and ankle conditions, injury prevention, flexibility and stretching, hypermobility, and return-to-performance rehabilitation for dancers and athletes. Liz teaches internationally on dance-specific physiotherapy and lower limb rehabilitation, and in January 2025 she spoke at Sports Kongres in Copenhagen on hypermobility and injury prevention in dancers. She is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, contributing to the Lower Quadrant Module.
Liz has worked in private sports injury clinics, falls prevention services, and is a qualified DMA Clinical Pilates instructor. She has written articles on dance injury prevention for ‘The Stage’ and has been a guest with many different podcasts and conferences, talking about her work with performers, and feet! 2023 marked her third consecutive year of speaking for ‘Therapy Live’ with Physio Matters. She wrote the section on ‘Posterior Ankle Impingement’ for the new edition of ‘Clinical Sports Medicine’, which will be released in 2026. Liz also visits dance companies and schools as a consultant physio, seeing their more complex foot and ankle injuries, having worked with Elmhurst and the English National Ballet in this capacity. She works with professional dancers in London, in shows such as ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake’, and ‘Back to the Future’. She manages injuries in dancers around the world via telehealth, including European Ballet companies and world champion Irish Dancers, returning them to competition level.
Sean is a Specialist in Podiatric Sports Medicine and works in Private Practice in Belfast and Dublin. He is a former lecturer in Podiatric Medicine in The University of Ulster. He has Post Graduate qualifications from Queen Mary University Edinburgh, QMU London and Bournemouth AECC. He is actively involved in delivering CPD to all Medical Professionals and Lectures Nationally and Internationally. He is a very keen advocate for the use of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Podiatric Medicine and mentors students studying for the qualification in Diagnostic US. He has recently joined CASE as an accessor. Sean’s very passionate about working in a Multi-Disciplinary Team and works closely with Physiotherapists , Orthopdods, Sports Medicine Consultants and other AHPs. He is a member of The Podiatric Sports Medicine SAG and is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Simon Dickinson is the Medical Director at TalarMade, where he leads clinical services, product development, quality assurance, education, and research. With over 25 years of experience, Simon is internationally recognised for his expertise in the conservative management of complex foot and ankle conditions.
Prior to joining TalarMade, Simon held senior roles within the NHS, including Head of Service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Throughout his career, he has focused on turning complex clinical challenges into simple, cost-effective solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Simon is the creator of the KinetiX™ Foot Orthoses MSK Toolkit, a clinically-driven range of insoles designed to support practitioners in delivering effective, evidence-based orthotic interventions. He is a passionate educator and advocate for continuous professional development, regularly lecturing at national and international conferences and mentoring clinicians across disciplines.
