We’re pleased to share that a comprehensive 100 patient evaluation of the HeelPro Advance Boot, led by Heather Hodgson – Lead TVN for Greater Glasgow and Clyde, has now been officially published in Wounds UK.

This in-depth clinical study offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of the HeelPro Advance Boot in real-world settings, with proven outcomes for pressure ulcer prevention.

Heather Hodgson said, “We started in partnership with TalarMade a 100-patient evaluation of the HeelPro Advance Boot. It had positive outcomes for the patient, the clinicians looking after the patients, and clinical outcomes. We were able to demonstrate that in that 100 patient population, not a single patient developed healthcare acquired pressure damage.”

Simon Dickinson, Medical Director, Talarmade Ltd, commented: “I would like to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to Heather Hodgson and her colleagues in the Tissue Viability Team at Greater Glasgow & Clyde for their outstanding work in evaluating the HeelPro Advance with 100 patients. This robust and clinically important investigation is a credit to the team’s dedication and expertise, and it provides invaluable evidence of the HeelPro Advance’s effectiveness in supporting patient care.

At Talarmade, our Prolevo product range strategy is built around a single, unwavering commitment: delivering exceptional clinical care and preventing avoidable harm. The results of Heather’s evaluation not only affirm the HeelPro Advance’s role in achieving these goals but also strengthen our resolve to work closely with clinicians to ensure our innovations deliver measurable benefits in real-world settings.

We are proud to support teams like Heather’s who share our vision for clinical excellence, and we look forward to continuing to support their vital work in preventing avoidable harm.”
